Our Perspective
Iron Road Brewing Co. was founded by two geologists, Richard Phillips and Jared Tarswell, who partnered with award-winning brewer Aaron MacInnis to create balanced and delicious beers.
Their taproom, accommodating up to 60 guests, provides a welcoming atmosphere where patrons can enjoy live music and observe the brewing process.
The beer selection includes the Locomotive Lager, a classic Czech-style lager with a strong malt backbone and crisp hop character, and the Loopline IPA, a light-bodied, aromatic beer featuring Citra, Mosaic, and Ella hops. For those interested in sampling multiple offerings, a tasting flight of four 5oz glasses is available.
The taproom menu complements the beer selection with items like chili cheese tots and a variety of tacos, including options such as chorizo and potato or grilled vegetable medley.
Iron Road Brewing Co. also offers private event bookings and distributes their beers to various retail locations across British Columbia, making their products accessible beyond the taproom.
