Our Perspective
Established in 2011 by sisters Theresa and Kate Garthwaite, Left Field Cider Co. transformed a hayfield into an orchard and a barn into a ciderhouse on their family ranch. Their ciders are made from real apples, without artificial flavours or concentrates, emphasizing the natural characteristics of the fruit. The product lineup includes the Big Dry, a blend of bittersweet cider apples and Okanagan dessert apples, and the Little Dry, a bright and refreshing cider with slight effervescence. Seasonal offerings like the Bunkhouse, a dry-hopped cider infused with Cascade and Chinook hops, showcase their innovative approach. Visitors can enjoy tastings at the ciderhouse during the summer months, with the tasting room reopening in May 2025. For enthusiasts, the Left Field Cider Club offers benefits such as discounts, first access to small-batch ciders, and flexible delivery options.
