Our Perspective

Station 10 Thrift Store stands out in Kamloops for its commitment to both community and global aid. Operated by individuals with emergency services backgrounds, the store has, over two decades, partnered with organizations like the Kamloops Fire Fighters Charitable Society and Rick’s Heart Foundation to deliver humanitarian aid—including hospital beds, firefighting gear, and school uniforms—to developing countries in Central America and Africa. Locally, Station 10 supports marginalized individuals through various initiatives.

The store offers a wide selection of affordably priced items, including clothing, accessories, small electronics, and housewares. Regular promotions, such as 50% off adult clothing, $5 kids' snow pants, $3 winter jackets, and $1 sleep onesies, provide great value to shoppers. These deals are part of their daily colour tag system, encouraging repeat visits and offering consistent savings.

Donations are accepted Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the rear of the store. Accepted items include fashion accessories, clothing, shoes, small electronics or appliances, toys, games, media, kitchenware, houseware, decoratives, crafts, hardware, gardening tools, and linens. They do not accept furniture, mattresses, box springs, cosmetics, personal hygiene items, baby accessories, cribs, strollers, large appliances, or any perishable, illegal, or recalled items.
